SIZE MATTERS: ESPECIALLY IN FLOATING WIND - Session 9
10:00 - 11:00
10:00 - 11:00
We know floating wind is the future. But with rising costs and supply chain bottlenecks, commercial-scale projects are struggling to get off the seabed.
Norway’s Enova just received five applications for NOK 9 billion in new demonstration projects. These aren't just «tests», they are the industrial springboards for the global market."Small-scale projects: The key to making floating offshore wind commercial?"
We’re bringing together the experts to discuss:
- Why the "Small-to-Scale" strategy is the fastest route to cost reduction.
- How the METCentre is expanding to host the next generation of floaters.
- How international partners can plug into the Norwegian supply chain now, not in 2035.
Join us at the Norwegian Pavilion to discuss whether small and medium sized projects are the essential "missing link" to prove technology, slash risks, and build the supply chain the world is screaming for.
