European Defence Week and French-Norwegian Defence Industries Forum 2026

From 2-6 November 2026, Paris will bring together leading European defence and dual-use stakeholders for European Defence Week, the French-Norwegian Defence Industries Forum and EURONAVAL. The week will connect industry, investors, institutions, military representatives and technology companies across the European defence ecosystem.

Norwegian companies are invited to join a targeted delegation programme designed to increase visibility, build relevant connections and identify concrete opportunities in the French and wider European defence market.

Europe is accelerating defence cooperation, capability development and industrial investment. For Norwegian companies, this creates new opportunities to enter supply chains, form partnerships and position relevant technologies for European programmes and operational needs.

This momentum is reflected in Europe’s growing defence cooperation. The Narvik Arrangement, signed by Norway and France in May 2026, provides a stronger foundation for bilateral cooperation in areas including defence industry, cybersecurity, maritime security, space and support to Ukraine.

At the same time, European governments are increasing investment in defence capabilities and technologies. France alone, has allocated EUR 57.1 billion to its 2026 defence mission, with investment across armament programmes, drones, robotics, air defence, cyber and artificial intelligence. The delegation offers a focused route into this market and the European partnerships shaping future capabilities.

2 November 2026 (morning)

The French-Norwegian Defence Industries Forum will bring together stakeholders from industry, government, the armed forces, research, finance and innovation. Through keynotes, panels, company pitches and targeted networking, the forum will support bilateral dialogue and practical industrial cooperation.

The programme will focus on three areas:

1. Resilient supply chains and defence logistics
2. Surveillance and the High North
3. Subsea, autonomous systems, sensors and naval defence.

The day includes a networking lunch and concludes with an evening reception at the Norwegian Embassy in Paris.

The focused format gives participating companies visibility and direct access to potential customers, industrial partners and decision-makers in the French defence ecosystem.

2 November (afternoon) - 6 November 2026

Led by Bpifrance and operated through EuroQuity, European Defence Week connects startups and scaleups with investors, corporates, institutions, innovation agencies and military representatives from across Europe.

The second edition is expected to convene more than 1,000 European defence and dual-use stakeholders, including more than 350 startups and SMEs, 460 investors and corporates, military representatives and European delegations. The aim is to accelerate partnerships, access to funding and pathways to deployment.

Across the week, the programme will explore three complementary themes:

• 3 November: New Battlefield Forum
• 4 November: Defence Investment & Scaleup Forum
• 5 November: Future of Defence Forum

Participants can expect expert panels and keynotes, curated company pitches, closed-door stakeholder meetings and targeted networking.

6 November 2026

The delegation programme concludes with a visit to EURONAVAL, one of the world’s leading naval-defence exhibitions. Its 2025 edition welcomed 26,000 professional visitors, 150 official delegations and 483 exhibitors, creating additional opportunities to engage with naval decision-makers, industrial partners and international markets.

The programme combines the focused access of the French-Norwegian Defence Industries Forum with the wider European reach of European Defence Week, giving Norwegian companies access to potential customers, industrial partners and key stakeholders across the defence ecosystem.

The programme is relevant for Norwegian startups, scaleups, SMEs and established companies with defence, security or dual-use solutions and clear international ambitions.
