Battery Trade Mission to South Korea 2026

Trade Mission

South Korea is one of the top priority countries in global battery industry. IN Seoul hosted ‘Battery Market visit to South Korea’ program in last March 2025. Through this delegation program, six Norwegian companies met Korean battery key stakeholders and explored global market trend with building networking with Korean companies. Next March 2026, IN Seoul will host a Norwegian delegation program again in conjunction with InterBattery event, the largest battery trade fair in South Korea with more and better opportunities for Norwegian battery delegation.

Through this program, IN Seoul will facilitate B2B meetings between Norwegian companies and key Korean stakeholders. The thematic areas are battery materials, cell production and recycling parts in the value chains. The Korean companies will be selected according to the “composition” of the Norwegian delegation, but they are primarily the key companies already having established connections with the Norwegian participants or targeted business partners.

Through the program, IN Seoul aims to deliver the following:

  • Opportunities for B2B meetings with proper contacts of Korean key companies.
  • Building/ developing the good relationship between Norwegian companies and Korean key stakeholders to identify mutual business opportunities.
  • Exploring the battery market trends and value chains in South Korea.
