  • Integrates solar panels, battery storage and EVs
  • Increases energy efficiency, lowers electricity bills

Evert delivers smart, scalable energy systems via integrated hardware and AI software, driving the shift to clean, decentralised power.

CHALLENGE

Inefficient residential energy systems

Europe faces an energy coordination failure: fragmented hardware, complex installations and inefficient grid usage hinder decarbonisation. Installers struggle with too many units and software systems. Consumers face rising energy costs and lack visibility or control. Current solutions are siloed, expensive and hard to scale.

SOLUTION

Smart power management for homes with V2H

Evert offers a fully integrated energy platform comprising a 3-in-1 unit: EV charger, solar inverter, and power management unit (PMU) – reducing installation time, cost and system complexity. The Evert PMU can be used to integrate solar panels, battery storage, electric vehicles and smart appliances.

The home energy management system (HEMS) software supports dynamic tariffs and virtual power plant (VPP) integrations, and the Evert Home app enables smart control and optimisation of solar production, battery storage, and EV charging.

Combined with AI-powered software, the Evert solution unlocks grid value, prepares for dynamic pricing and connects homes into a future-ready VPP.

“We have combined a bidirectional DC charger and inverter in one sleek wallbox. It is made for fast installation with minimal wiring. What’s more, the embedded systems are designed to support vehicle-to-home (V2H) from day one,” says co-founder and CEO of Evert, Kristoffer Fossan.

BENEFITS

Evert lowers residential electricity bills

Customers benefit from lower electricity bills, greater energy independence and full control through one intuitive app. Installers save time with plug-and-play installation and fewer support issues.

Evert highlights the value of its embedded software that it says can benefit the grid operator, installers, and the homeowner. “Software is our strength,” says Fossen, stating that the intelligent load balancing was developed to optimise distribution and prevent grid overload.

The “unified app ecosystem” software was developed for both installers and homeowners to enable them to monitor, update and control the various connected batteries and inverter systems.

As for environmental concerns, Evert accelerates adoption of renewables, reduces peak demand and enables energy sharing across communities, supporting a smoother, greener transition to electrified homes across Europe.

MARKET POTENTIAL

Strong market supports upcoming launch

Evert’s integrated solution meets the rising demand for smart, sustainable energy. The fast-growing home energy management system market is expected to reach USD 9.41 billion globally by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 15.23 per cent during the forecast period.

The company has completed development and testing of the platform and is preparing for a commercial launch in mid-2026.

“Our long-term strategy is pan-European, but we’re kicking off in the German-speaking countries of Europe, Germany Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) first, followed by Poland,” says Fossan. “Talks are underway with local distributors.”
