CalproSmart® self-test for measuring calprotectin in faecal samples
CalproSmart® is an IVD/CE-approved self-test for the quantitative measurement of calprotectin in faecal samples that converts patients’ smartphone into a reader by using an app. Results are securely transmitted to a GDPR-compliant portal, which integrates with hospital information systems and patient-reported outcome (PROMs) tools.
Calprotectin is a well-established biomarker for intestinal inflammation. By enabling remote monitoring, CalproSmart® helps to detect disease flares at an early stage, reduces hospital visits and frees up resources in the clinic.
