Singapore Maritime Week 2026 Norway Pavilion & Events

Organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Singapore Maritime Week 2026 (SMW 2026) is one of Asia’s premier maritime events, bringing together global industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers for networking and collaboration. The last edition attracted 35,000 participants from over 100 countries and regions, including more than 70 government and port authorities.

SMW serves as a key platform for companies to showcase technologies in digitalisation and decarbonisation to an engaged maritime audience.

Events organized by Innovation Norway during SMW2026:
Following the success of SMW 2025, Innovation Norway will once again organise the Norway Pavilion at SMW 2026, featuring 11 companies representing some of the most cutting edge solutions and technologies Norway has to offer in the maritime sector.

The Pavilion will be a total of 110 sqm and featured near the entrance at the Exhibition Hall.

Kopi and Waffles Reception co-hosted with DNV — Featuring local kopi and Norwegian waffles, this reception merges food cultures from both countries to symbolize the close maritime ties between Singapore and Norway. The reception is hosted between the Norway Pavilion and the DNV booth in the exhibition hall.

Spotlight on Norway: Smart & Sustainable Shipping: Digitalisation and Decarbonisation Shaping the Maritime Future — The Spotlight will showcase Norwegian maritime solutions and technologies in two thematic sessions: Digitalisation and AI in maritime, and decarbonisation and the transition towards low-carbon maritime future. The Spotlight will provide deeper insights into the commercial relevance and applications for different technologies and solutions in the region.

Singapore–Norway Maritime Industry Forum — Innovation Norway will host the 4th edition of our Business Forum during Singapore Maritime Week (SMW), with strong support from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the Embassy of Norway in Singapore, the Norwegian Business Association Singapore (NBAS), Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA).

The programme will cover key developments in the maritime transition, including AI applications, maritime autonomy, green shipping corridors, alternative fuels, and harbour craft electrification with charging infrastructure.

Participants will gain actionable insights from industry leaders in Singapore and Norway, and learn from Norwegian case studies showcasing scalable, commercially viable solutions. The forum also provides a platform to foster meaningful partnerships between Singaporean and Norwegian stakeholders.

Alongside the exhibition, SMW features a high-level conference attended by major regional and global stakeholders. Throughout the week, embassies, large corporates, and leading shipping, finance, and insurance players host various networking and co-located events.

One such co-located event is the MTEC/ICMASS Conference, themed “Smart Ships. Secure Seas. Sustainable Futures.” It brings in and connects global thought leaders from academia and industry to present cutting-edge advancements in maritime technology, autonomous shipping, and port operations. Innovation Norway is a partner for this event.
