20 April 2026 - 24 April 2026
Delegation
Innovation Norway and Skift invites you to explore China’s green tech scene! Together with our Team Norway partners in China, the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing, the Consulate General in Shanghai and the Norwegian Business Association, we offer a unique opportunity to explore China’s rapid technological development.
China is now at the forefront of green innovation, leading the way in renewable energy, electrification, clean mobility, and sustainable industry. For Norwegian companies, this opens up exciting opportunities to learn, collaborate, and build partnerships in a market that is shaping the future of green growth.
Innovation Norway, together with Team Norway in China, including the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing, the Consulate General in Shanghai, and the Norwegian Business Association, we offer a unique chance to see these developments up close. You’ll meet key players, gain valuable insights, and explore where Norwegian competence and Chinese innovation can create real value together. The Green Tech Tour is scheduled to take place from April 20th to 24th, 2026, starting in Shenzhen and ending in Shanghai.
During Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre's visit to Beijing in September 2024, Norway and China signed a joint statement on the establishment of a Dialogue on the Green Transition to facilitate cooperation on reducing emissions and developing green industries. China is the world’s largest shipbuilder, and has the ambition to be a leader in all parts of the maritime supply chain. China is a major player in the transition towards a greener and smarter maritime sector, including on retrofitting older vessels for future energy readiness.
The Green Tech Tour offers firsthand insight into the development and ambitions of the 15th five-year plan (2026-2030), providing a deeper understanding of China’s innovation and manufacturing ecosystem.
Join us to get inspired, make meaningful connections, and discover how Norway and China can work side by side in the global green transition.
