Seminar SEG & SPG I The Future of our oceans Barcelona

Innovation Norway Spain is kicking off this year’s Seafood Expo Global (SEG) and Seafood Processing Global (SPG) programme in Barcelona with an industry seminar on ‘The Future of our Oceans: Trends and Opportunities in Europe’.
Hosted in partnership with the Norwegian Embassy in Madrid and the Norwegian Seafood Council, you’ll be joined by Norway’s Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy, Ms Cecilie Myrseth. Top industry and governmental stakeholders will take part in a programme that will address key issues affecting the global fisheries and aquaculture industry.
2023 has proven to be a challenging year for the fisheries and aquaculture sector. Economic factors, particularly inflation and changing consumer preferences, are influencing the industry, resulting in stagnant consumption and production.
Our panel of experts will present the latest trends, explore the challenges and opportunities facing the fisheries and aquaculture sector in Europe, and discuss how this impacts the industry’s current and near-term future.

Companies must carry out their own due diligence assessments (risk assessments) to identify, prevent, and mitigate potential adverse impacts.
