Team Norway is again present with a strong delegation at Wind Expo Tokyo
Wind Expo is the largest wind power event in Japan. Wind Expo exhibits all kinds of products and technologies from wind turbines to wind farm construction, maintenance and operation, and offshore wind technologies, and has become a well-established event in the industry that attracts experts from all over the world.
The exhibition is an important platform for accelerating the wind power business face to face. Innovation Norway in cooperation with Norwegian Energy Partners, and the Norwegian Embassy will host the Norway Pavilion at Wind Expo from 17-19 March 2026.
The Norway Pavilion at the Wind EXPO will be the place to go to for Japanese companies to discuss challenges, get inspired solutions and find partners for their projects in Japan and beyond.
Companies must adhere to standards for responsible business conduct, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
Participants are expected to operate in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. This entails conducting business responsibly, respecting human rights, ensuring decent working conditions, safeguarding environmental considerations, and actively preventing corruption.
Companies must carry out their own due diligence assessments (risk assessments) to identify, prevent, and mitigate potential adverse impacts.
