We have booked a pavilion and are planning a Norway booth in a good position in the exhibition.
Exhibitors under the Team Norway Pavilion are entitled to:
Stand participation: Approx. NOK 5000,- excl. VAT*
*The participation fee will cover direct costs related to the Team Norway pavilion. Note that the final participation fee will depend on the exchange rate between NOK and Japanese YEN and the number of exhibiting companies at the pavilion.
The registration will be a binding agreement when the registration closes on September 15th 2023.
All participants are responsible for their own travel-related reservations and fees, such hotel and flights.
The fee only covers participation in the booth. Additional conference registration is recommended and is participants responsibility. Different tickets are available for the conference and/or dinner reception.
The organizers offer a tour to a floating offshore wind farm under construction the day prior to the event. Beware of limited number of tickets for this, so early registration is recommended.
Global offshore wind summit (GOWS) is a yearly conference and exhibition held in Japan. The comprehensive business conference with a strong line up of speakers attracts leading offshore wind companies representing developers, construction companies, service providers, technology and equipment vendors as well as policy makers and stakeholders from offshore wind regions. Last year it attracted 700 Japanese and foreign participants. The event is organized by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and Japan Wind Power Association(JWPA) and travels among regions with offshore wind development. This year it is hosted by Kitakyushu City which is an important port hub for offshore wind. The event is great for getting an introduction to the Japanese offshore wind power market, have business meetings and establish contact with major players in the market.
Innovation Norway, NORWEP, The Norwegian Embassy of Tokyo in cooperation with Norwegian clusters, will organize the Norway pavilion, a Norway Japan seminar and meeting activities with key offshore wind players in the Japanese market.
Team Norway was present at last year’s event. Participants confirmed GOWS as a successful event with great visibility for promotion in the relatively small exhibition in combination with good networking opportunities at the conference with high level business speakers.
