Trade mission: Advancing Norwegian radiopharma and precision oncology in Japan

This initiative will showcase Norway’s innovative solutions in these high-impact fields, highlighting their potential to address global healthcare challenges in collaboration with Japanese partners.

The trade mission is designed to give Norwegian radiopharma and oncology companies strategic exposure to the Japanese market through a curated, high-level programme. The agenda combines targeted meetings, site visits, regulatory insight and networking with key decision-makers.

June 23 – Tokyo
We begin with a dedicated programme for Norwegian companies, featuring regulatory briefings, roundtable discussions and practical sessions designed to prepare participants for the week ahead and maximise outcomes.

June 24 – Tokyo
Parallel tracks provide tailored opportunities: while Norwegian companies engage directly with Japanese pharma authorities and tour leading institutions, other participants attend a Nordic-led introduction to the Japanese healthcare system, regulatory pathways and market dynamics.

June 25–26 – Osaka
Norwegian companies take part in the Nordic Health Expo Japan at EXPO 2025, showcasing how Nordic collaboration is addressing global health challenges. The programme includes on-site visits and thematic sessions focused on innovation, data and diagnostics.

June 27 – Tokyo
The mission concludes at the Nordic Health Summit Japan — a key investor and partnering platform. Select Norwegian companies will participate in curated matchmaking sessions and strategic discussions with Japanese industry leaders and investors.

The programme is fixed, with a focus on showcasing Norway’s contributions to cutting-edge cancer diagnostics and treatments.
