Who is eligible to register?
All companies registered in the Brønnøysund Register Centre are eligible to register for a company page on BusinessNorway.com, with the exception of:
- sole proprietorships,
- accelerator programmes,
- companies producing consumer goods that are only sold B2C,
- companies that are purely distributors,
- companies that only provide solutions to increase the efficiency of oil and gas recovery,
- consultancy firms or research institutes providing services that are not based on in-house designed solutions.
What criteria must be satisfied?
- Your company must adhere to standards for responsible business conduct, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria.
- Your company must carry out its own due diligence (risk assessments) to identify, prevent and mitigate potential adverse impacts on people, society and the environment.
- Your company must have plans for international growth.
- Your company should only profile sustainable solutions or neutral solutions on its company page.
Sustainable solutions are defined as technologies, products and services that address major environmental or societal challenges.
Neutral solutions are defined as technologies, products and services that do not significantly impact the environment and climate, either positively or negatively.
Solutions designed to improve the efficiency of oil and gas recovery, even if they in themselves are sustainable, are not eligible for listing on BusinessNorway.com.
