WGT Tunnel Lining
W. Giertsen Tunnel delivers tailor-made tunnel lining systems for climate stabilization and drip protection in rock caverns and underground structures. The lining is based on a reinforced polyester core coated with PVC, ensuring an expected service life of at least 50 years. The system is flexible in design and can be installed before, during, or after the construction of other structures. Installation is carried out with an adjustable distance from the rock surface using W. Giertsen Tunnel’s proprietary bolt-and-wire system. This allows for inspection of the underlying areas even after the lining has been installed.
