Stingray has since 2014 been commercial with a high-tech platform for better fish welfare, through laser de-lousing, diagnostics and biometrics. The solution is known as both lice laser and The Fish Health Station (The Fish Health Hub) both domestically and abroad. Over 1,500 units have been produced (per September 2024) and the solution is installed at over 100 sites in 500-600 pens along the entire coast of Norway and in Iceland. The system monitors and protects more than 70 million salmon and trout around the clock, throughout the year. Stingray expects increased sales of units internationally in the coming years and is proud to be Made in Norway, so it is natural for the company to carry such an origin mark.
