Larvae – feed products
In Voss, larvae from black soldier flies are produced using food waste from fruit and vegetable production that is not suitable for human food or animal feed. This ensures efficient utilization of nutrients in the waste. The larvae are then dried and sold as feed supplements for hens or processed into insect meal and insect oil used in animal feed and as feed for farmed salmon. Invertapro uses residual raw materials and former foodstuffs from our local area, and everything that does not become protein-rich larvae goes back as nutrient-rich fertilizer. In this way, no resources are wasted in our production, and we contribute to a more circular and sustainable value chain.
