Norway’s first textile-to-textile recycling facility, Norsk Tekstilgjenvinning (NTG), is located in Sandefjord. Its expertise lies in sorting, recycling and processing textile waste.
At the facility, textiles are handled safely and efficiently, enabling the final material to be returned to the value chain and transformed into new textile products.
NTG is proud to receive the Made in Norway label.
“Showcasing our Norwegian origin is important to us, and the Made in Norway label serves as a valuable mark of quality. Norwegian quality is premium quality.”

NTG operates a large-scale facility for receiving, sorting and recycling textiles in Sandefjord. Here, recycled fibres are transformed into raw materials for new textile production.
Within the facility, textiles are processed safely and efficiently, enabling the final material to reenter the value chain and become new textile products. In addition, NTG works actively to reduce consumption and extend the lifespan of textiles, contributing to a more sustainable future for the industry.
“By recycling textiles, we help to reduce waste and make full use of valuable resources that would otherwise be lost. In doing so, we are building a truly circular value chain – giving textiles a new life, again and again,” says Pål Erik Haraldsen.

NTG is proud to be a Norwegian producer, operating the first facility of its kind in Norway. With a strong commitment to responsibility, transparency, and integrity, NTG ensures the highest quality – making it safe and reliable to choose Norwegian.
“Showcasing our Norwegian origin is important to us, and the Made in Norway label serves as a valuable mark of quality. Norwegian quality is premium quality,” says Haraldsen.

The Made in Norway label highlights that NTG’s recycled fibres are produced in Norway – a unique and highly attractive quality in the company’s market.
“Across Norway and Europe, where brands, spinners and manufacturers increasingly rely on recycled fibres, this distinction sets NTG apart and strengthens our competitive edge,” says Haraldsen.

NTG plans to feature the Made in Norway label prominently on its fibre packaging. The label is also integrated into NTG’s exhibition stand design, presentations and digital platforms – including social media – to strengthen brand visibility and communicate trust and sustainability to customers and partners alike.
