Formfin is a furniture manufacturer based in Sykkylven, Norway. Since 1946, the company has been creating comfortable, functional furniture designed to bring a sense of warmth and well-being – whether for indoor living spaces or outdoor comfort.
The company takes pride in working with local suppliers and skilled local craftsmen.
“Every choice we make is rooted in a long-term commitment to sustainability. Our furniture is known for its design, durability, and ability to bring lasting joy. We create pieces for every part of life – from the unforgettable moments to the quiet ones that follow,” says Geir Kvalvåg.

Formfin takes pride in its Norwegian roots. Norway is recognised for its stability, responsibility, transparency, and integrity – qualities that make choosing Norwegian a safe and trusted choice. The Made in Norway label serves as a mark of quality, giving companies a distinct seal of credibility.
“We’re proud of our Norwegian heritage. That’s why Formfin is committed to highlighting our origin – helping customers and partners to make a clear connection between our furniture and its Norwegian roots,” says Kvalvåg.

In Norway, Formfin’s products are widely available through major furniture retail chains. However, these outlets often place less emphasis on origin labelling and more on price. By highlighting the Made in Norway certification, Formfin aims to better communicate its values and craftsmanship to customers who care about local quality and origin.
“Research shows that more people would choose Norwegian‑made products if they were aware of their origin. By using the Made in Norway label across our showrooms and materials, we believe we can connect with more of these customers,” says Kvalvåg.

Formfin will display the Made in Norway label across all showroom products, as well as in all printed and digital marketing materials. The label will also accompany every Formfin product all the way to the end user, clearly communicating its Norwegian origin, craftsmanship and commitment to quality.
