FF Rollerskis: The ultimate skiing experience, Made in Norway

Published 27 Feb 2026 · 4 min read

FF Rollerskis designs and manufactures the world’s most stable and secure roller skis.

With Norwegian quality and precision, it delivers the ultimate skiing experience all year round – even on the international competition stage.

And the innovation journey? It all began by pure chance.

FF Rollerskis represents more than just product innovation – it’s a vision to make roller skiing accessible, sustainable and rewarding for everyone.

Henrik Georg Lindhagen

CEO of FF Rollerskis

The only Rollerski with FIS Product Supplier Status

FF Rollerskis holds a distinction no other rollerski manufacturer can claim: Official FIS (International Ski Federation) Product Supplier status. This certification validates that FF Rollerskis meet the standards required for international competition – a mark of technical excellence and quality assurance that sets the brand apart in the global market. But Lindhagen's vision extended beyond elite competition from the start.

"We wanted to take Norwegian engineering principles and apply them to a pain that affects everyone who loves skiing. How do you make rollerskiing an obvious choice of activity? Safe, fun, and accessible?"says Lindhagen. The mission was clear.

Today FF Rollerskis has the cure to that pain. It lies where the gap between seasons closes. That feeling, flowstate, smooth and in that moment every skier is aligned.

Engineering Excellence Shared

2020 The important breakthrough for FF Rollerskis was the V-Pro Classic, which was awarded "Markets Best Rollerski." This established the feeling and quality of the ski as the primary parameter for success. The small Horten-based company had made its mark.

2026 The newest innovation is the patented 360flow suspension system. The Circle suspension design aka 360, uniquely mimics snow conditions, vulcanized rubber cushions providing both the necessary resistance and crucial energy return during the kickcycle, also preserve muscles and joints while returning energy to the skier.. This feature is unlike conventional rollerskis that merely absorb impact with a jarring, dead feel. Energy lost.

Proud to showcase its Norwegian heritage

FF Rollerskis believes that the Made in Norway label enhances its credibility and highlights its commitment to Norwegian values and craftsmanship. As an official FIS product supplier, the company also provides products approved for use in international competitions, further underlining its dedication to top-tier quality and performance.

“We wanted to be part of Made in Norway because we take great pride in our Norwegian heritage and dedication to high quality. It’s important for us to show that our roller skis are developed and manufactured in Norway, with a strong focus on innovation, safety and performance,” says Lindhagen.

The Unexpected Differensiator

What sets FF Rollerskis apart is sharing these innovations across the industry. FF manufactures stable V-track wheels and safety brakes for other rollerskis. While most manufacturers guard innovations, capturing customers in closed and imperfect systems, FF takes the opposite approach: If it makes rollerskiing safer, it's worth sharing.

"We develop for the diverse market. We see it as a mission to make opportunities available for more people world wide, not just people who buy our specific brand," Lindhagen explains.

Planet-Friendly by Design

In an industry built on seasonal replacement cycles, FF Rollerskis challenges the fast-consumption model at every level. Every component is engineered for longevity and repairability. The invisible brake system – adding less than 10 grams and practically invisible in use – is designed for safety, and improving the lifetime of any wheel.

"Being planet-friendly, it is how we think about product development from the ground up. If we're going to encourage more people to roller ski, we have a responsibility to do it in a way that doesn't accelerate environmental damage," says Lindhagen.

This commitment to sustainability is an ethical imperative and one of our competitive advantages. Creating equipment designed to endure rather than be discarded is simply how FF operates. One other example is the only 100% recyclable rollerski wheel available. Made locally, with reused material, this is an actual alternative to products in an industry with big room for improvement.

Made in Norway: Engineering as Core Value

FF Rollerskis develops, engineers, and manufactures guided by Norwegian values of quality, innovation, and social responsibility. "We take Norwegian engineering out into the world — leaving the 'Jantelov' at the border, proudly packing the Made in Norway label instead," Lindhagen says. "Norwegian engineering means solving real problems with attention to quality, safety, and durability. Details are always important," says Lindhagen.

This approach has earned recognition far beyond Norway's borders. Just as the FIS Product Supplier status. And now the Made in Norway- ™. FF serves elite athletesin international competition while making the sport accessible to recreational skiers and non- conventional wintersport nations worldwide through initiatives like #NoSnowNations.
