Here you can find more information about the Team Norway programme during Hannover Messe 2024. In addition to the exciting events taking place at the Norway Pavilion in Hall 12, Norway will arrange two full days of presentations, panel discussions and pitches on the centre stage.

The matchmaking will be opened by: Kerstin Jorna, Director General DG GROW and Cecilie Myrseth, Minister for Industry and Trade, Norway. Business pitches by 10-12 EU & Norway stakeholders: Siemens, Vianode, Morrow, Bergen Carbon Solutions, Skaland Graphite + more TBC.

How can we build up and foster energy partnerships between Northern Germany and Norway? Which business opportunities derive from that? What role will hydrogen and CCS/CCU play? And what infrastructure will be needed to accelerate carbon neutrality in both regions? In early January 2023, Norway and Germany agreed to enter a strategic partnership on climate, renewable energy and green industry. Scandinavia in general is a reliable and important partner when it comes to tackling the big questions of energy transition and carbon neutrality while enhancing economic competitiveness. So lets have a look at energy partnerships in general and the decarbonisation of the economy.

Public Forum, “Hydrogen + Fuel Cells EUROPE”, Hall 13, stand D40
At the Norwegian Hydrogen Seminar, key aspects about Norway's role in developing the European hydrogen value chain will be presented and discussed. The event will be introduced by the German-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce and the Norwegian Embassy in Berlin. Additionally, leading Norwegian and German companies will discuss their vision of how the German-Norwegian hydrogen collaboration can take form in a panel discussion. These companies include Statkraft, Equinor, Yara, and SEFE Securing Energy for Europe. Lastly, the exhibiting companies at the Norwegian Hydrogen Pavilion (Stand 40, Hall 13) will present how they work to make the European hydrogen value chain a reality with the concrete solutions they provide. These companies are: Billington Process Technology, Fuella, Gascade Gastransport, Gen2 Energy, Helinor Energy, HydrogenPro, Hystar, Neo Monitors, and UMOE Advanced Composites.

Invest in Norway is the country's official Investment Promotion Agency (IPA), organised as a department under Innovation Norway's Export & Invest division. Battery Norway (Norwegian Battery Platform) is a national industrial collaboration platform focused on innovation and sustainable value creation opportunities, encompassing the entire battery supply chain. Invest in Norway and Battery Norway are hosting together a session on the Center Stage of the Norwegian National Pavillion. The Session starts with a presentation of the Norwegian Battery Value Chain followed by pitches of Norwegian Companies, each representing a chain link in the Battery Value Chain.
