The International Offshore Wind Partnering Forum (IPF) is the premier offshore wind energy conference in North America.
Programme elements
The US offshore industry aims to become America’s next major energy source and IPF, hosted by the newly rebranded ‘Oceantic Network’ (formerly the Business Network for Offshore Wind), has emerged as the main forum for connecting global leaders and market players to local businesses in the supply chain.
In 2025, IPF will take place in Virginia Beach and once again Team Norway will lead a delegation of Norwegian businesses seeking to pursue opportunities in the burgeoning US market. Team Norway will facilitate B2B meetings, host a networking reception, and present a Norway Pavilion as part of the IPF expo.
Exhibitors at the Norway Pavilion are entitled to the following:
- Branding with logo as part of the Norway Pavilion design
- Looping video on pavilion big screen highlighting exhibiting companies
- Pavilion screen ‘take over’ - exhibitors can schedule a time to take over one of the two screens with your company’s specific content
- Listing in the IPF online directory
- 3 hours of Innovation Norway support pre and/or post-conference
- Advertisement for the Norway Pavilion in Oceantic’s weekly newsletters during the lead-up to IPF that will link to a Business Norway article highlighting exhibiting companies
- Access to B2B meetings with states, developers, and tier 1 companies hosted specifically for the Norwegian delegation
- Norway reception hosted by the Royal Norwegian Consulate of New York
- Discounted prices for additional conference passes (can be added at $1595 per person)

Companies must adhere to standards for responsible business conduct, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
Participants are expected to operate in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. This entails conducting business responsibly, respecting human rights, ensuring decent working conditions, safeguarding environmental considerations, and actively preventing corruption.
Companies must carry out their own due diligence assessments (risk assessments) to identify, prevent, and mitigate potential adverse impacts.
