Foodex, annually held in Japan, is the largest professional food trade show in Asia. In 2023 it attracted over 2,500 exhibitors and 73,000 visitors. Visitors include retailers, importers, restaurants, and food manufacturers, and they come not only from Japan but also from neighboring Asian countries, such as Korea, Taiwan, China, and Thailand.
Seeing the increasing demand from Norwegian food and beverage companies interested in expanding to the Japanese and Asian markets, and also the strong interest towards Norwegian food and beverage from the Japanese market (see below graph), NCCJ, in cooperation with the Norwegian Embassy, Innovation Norway, and the Norwegian Seafood Council, will organize a NORWAY Pavilion at Foodex 2024.
This will be Norway’s first time presenting at Foodex, and we are very excited to invite Norwegian food and beverage companies on board to share the pavilion.
