The Norwegian Embassy in Seoul in cooperation with the Norwegian Ministry of Education & Research and Research Council of Norway is hosting its first annual research networking event. In 2021, the Norwegian government made South-Korea one of its key focal countries under its Panorama Strategy to promote collaboration in science and academia. This event is for Norwegian and Korean participants from research institutes, universities, and business to present ongoing research and projects, and network and connect under central themes. A mix of presentation of research, panel discussions and workshops will give participants a perfect opportunity to understand the ongoing collaborative environment and establish new partnerships.
In the inaugural event we have landed on three topics. These are topics that have strong collaboration ties between the two countries, and which we wish to promote. Therefore, we invite participants in the fields of:
Researchers in the above fields from universities, research institutes and businesses who are interested in collaboration between Norway and South Korea.
