Meet Team Norway at China Fisheries & Seafood EXPO

The largest seafood trade event in the world's biggest seafood market will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2024, in Qingdao.

This year, over 40,000 seafood buyers from 120 countries will attend the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo, ready to make deals, sign contracts, and network with global leaders in the seafood industry.

In 2023, Norwegian companies exported 160,000 tonnes of seafood to China, primarily salmon, mackerel, and whitefish. In terms of the volume of Norwegian seafood exports, the Chinese market is second only to the EU.

The expanded Norway Pavilion (totaling 396 sqm) in 2025 will be located in a highly visible area in Exhibit Hall 8, which is dedicated to international country pavilions. This location ensures that the 'Seafood from Norway' brand and individual company booths will benefit from a steady stream of foot traffic throughout the entire show.

As a result, co-exhibiting as part of the Norway Pavilion will provide participating companies with an excellent opportunity to engage face-to-face with Asian buyers and establish lucrative business connections in the Asian market, particularly in China.
