Open call for events on the Norway business pavilion (blue zone)

Do you represent an NGO, academic institution, municipality or ministry and have a topic or perspective that appeals to a global audience and that you would like to present on stage during COP28?

The Norway business pavilion at COP28 invites NGOs, academic institutions and public sector to propose keynotes, panel or round table discussions and other event ideas to be hosted at the pavilion during COP28. We particularly encourage events with broad geographical and demographic representation. Available time slots will be distributed among the most relevant open call applications.

The Norwegian Pavilion is strategically placed close to the other Nordic pavilions and press center in the blue zone. The pavilion will be open from 8.30 am to 5.pm every day during COP 28. The pavilion can cater for 25 seated audience, but also round table discussions or key notes. The events can be taped for your own editing and publication.

Requirements for applying:

  • Blue zone accreditation for contributors and participants must be in place. The Norway business pavilion cannot assist with obtaining accreditation
  • All events must follow the overall mission statement for the Norway business pavilion as well as the UNFCCC requirements
  • Expenses, if any, related to the events are to be covered by the organising party
  • The organising parties will be asked to provide us with a short event description
